Colour is random from the production run — each Pico is handmade, so the specific shade and finish you receive will vary. If you want to choose yours visually, come into Melbourne's Shisha Store and pick from what we have on the shelf that day.

Running it

• Pack shisha into the phunnel channel around the central spire — fluffy for blonde, denser for dark leaf.
• Keep the pack just below or level with the rim.
• Foil with pierced holes, or drop your HMD on top.
• Two or three natural charcoal cubes, let the clay heat through before drawing.

Care — important

• Always let the bowl cool completely before cleaning.
• Never rinse with cold water while the bowl is hot — thermal shock cracks clay immediately.
• Warm water soak to loosen residue, soft brush only.
• Air dry fully before storing.

Common questions

Is a Tangiers phunnel different from other phunnels?

Tangiers makes them by hand with their own clay formulation and their own firing approach. Other phunnels copy the format but not the build process. The difference is most obvious in heat behaviour and flavour clarity during longer sessions.

Can I pick the colour?

Not online — colour comes from the production run. In store you can pick from what's currently on the shelf.
