2.7 kg of machined and hand finished brass
The Shika Elwel shisha pipe puts 2.7 kg of brass into a 34 cm stem, a full kilo more than the 40 cm Legend. CNC machined sections meet hand cast and hand drilled parts, and the stem comes apart for cleaning. Sold as the stem with bowl and hose adapter. The base and the hose are sold separately.
Why this one
- Hybrid build CNC machining sets the structure. Hand casting and hand drilling give it the contours a machine does not repeat.
- Modular The stem comes apart for cleaning and packing.
- Traditional or silicone hose The adapter in the box switches the hose port from a traditional hose to a modern silicone hose. The hose itself is sold separately.
- Two boxes, so nothing rubs The bowl travels in one box. The machined stem and its accessories travel in the other. We pack every Khalil Mamoon the same way.
- Machined, then finished by hand The structure is CNC machined. The engraving is cut by hand. No two are the same.
Handmade: what to expect
Every Shika is machined, then finished by hand in Egypt. Expect small differences from the photos:
- Fine scratches, marks and tool lines in the brass
- Small lines or tiny chips in the clay bowl
- The engraving and the tone of the brass vary piece to piece
These come from the handmade process. They are not faults and do not affect how it works.

Questions
What comes with the Shika Elwel?
The machined brass stem, the tray, an Oblivion clay bowl and the hose port adapter. The glass base and the hose are sold separately. Charcoal and a heat management device are sold separately.
Does it come with a base?
No. Shika sells the CNC line as the stem set, without a glass base. Pair it with the Genie coloured base or the Cairo Bell, both sold separately.
Can I use a silicone hose?
Yes. The adapter in the box switches the hose port from a traditional hose to a silicone hose. The hose is sold separately, so you can pick a traditional or a silicone one.
Why does it cost more than the Legend?
Weight and work. The Elwel stem is 2.7 kg against the Legend's 1.7 kg, and it is machined and then finished by hand in far smaller numbers.
How is it packed?
In two boxes. The bowl in one, the stem and accessories in the other, so nothing rubs in transit.
