Shika Iowaska Egyptian Brass Shisha Pipe

Round against sharp, all the way up

The Shika Iowaska shisha pipe alternates bold rounded forms with hard defined edges along its 46 cm stem. Every line is engraved by hand into 2 kg of solid brass. It comes as a full set on the Cairo Bell base.

Why this one

• A rhythm of contrasts Rounded sections meet sharp ones, so the light moves differently on every part of the stem.
• Two kilos of brass The stem alone is 2 kg. It stands still when the hose is pulled.
• Two boxes, so brass never touches glass The glass base and the bowl travel in one box. The engraved stem and its accessories travel in the other. We pack every Khalil Mamoon the same way. Nothing rubs in transit.
• Handmade in Egypt The stem is engraved by hand and the base is made by hand. No two are the same.

Handmade: what to expect

Every Shika is made by hand in Egypt. Expect small differences from the photos:

• Fine scratches, marks and tool lines in the brass
• Small lines, bubbles or tiny chips in the glass base and the clay bowl
• The engraving and the tone of the brass vary piece to piece
• Hose colours vary. Yours may not be the colour in the photos

These come from the handmade process. They are not faults and do not affect how it works.

Questions

What comes with the Shika Iowaska?

The full set: the brass stem, the tray, the Cairo Bell base, a Sinai Tradi washable hose, an Oblivion clay bowl, the grommets and a base protector. Charcoal and a heat management device are sold separately.

How tall is the Shika Iowaska?

The brass stem alone is 46 cm. The glass base under it and the bowl on top make the full shisha taller than that.

Is the Shika Iowaska heavier than a Khalil Mamoon?

Yes. Shika builds heavier than Khalil Mamoon, in the supplier's own words, and the Iowaska stem alone weighs 2.0 kg before the tray and the base.

Which base does it use, and can I change it?

It comes on the Cairo Bell, the heavy Egyptian bell base. The Cairo Bell is the spare. The Nile clear tear drop and the Genie coloured base are the upgrades, both sold separately.

Iowaska or Drakon?

Both are 2 kg stems. The Iowaska is 46 cm and plays round against sharp. The Drakon is 48 cm and engraved like scales.

How is it packed?

In two boxes. The glass base and the bowl in one, the stem and accessories in the other, so nothing rubs in transit.
