How to set it up

• Seat the stem in the hand-painted glass base with the supplied grommet.
• Fill the base to about two fingers above the downstem with cold water.
• Pack the KM clay bowl, foil the top (or use a phunnel-style HMD) and add coals from the tray.
• Draw steadily — KM pipes reward a slow, measured pull.

Care & maintenance

• Rinse the stem with warm water and a soft bottle brush after each session.
• Wash the glass base gently by hand — the hand-painted finish doesn't belong in a dishwasher.
• Let the clay bowl dry fully between uses to extend its life.
