Using it

• Pack your bowl as normal
• Sit the screen directly on top of the bowl rim
• Add 2–3 natural coconut charcoal pieces to the screen
• Move coals around to control heat as you go
• Rotate or replace coals across the session as needed

Care

• Let it cool completely before handling
• Soak in warm water to lift residue
• Scrub gently with a brush — skip abrasive pads to avoid scratching
• Dry fully before storing

Is this an HMD?

Not quite — it's a coal screen, which sits on the bowl in place of foil. There's no lid or vent control like a Provost or Kaloud-style HMD, but it's massively cheaper and gets you most of the way there.

Will it fit my bowl?

It's sized for most standard shisha bowls. Bring yours into our Melbourne store if you want our team to confirm fit before you buy.

Can I use it with cube or flat coals?

Both work — flats sit a bit easier on the mesh, but cubes are fine if you arrange them carefully.
