Why the Ice Chiller is different

• Built-in ice chamber at the top of the stem chills smoke directly on its way to the hose - noticeably cooler and smoother than ambient KMs
• 80 cm height combines with the ice chamber for the coolest pull in the standard KM range

How to set it up

• Assemble the stem on the glass base with the supplied grommet
• Add ice cubes to the built-in chamber at the top of the stem
• Fill the base with water 2-3 cm above the downstem
• Attach the hose, fit the bowl, pack and light as normal
• Top up the ice as it melts on longer sessions

Care

• Disassemble after each session and drain any remaining ice water from the chamber
• Rinse all metal components with warm water
• Soft brush and warm water for the glass base
• Wipe the gold-tone brass dry to maintain the finish
• Dry every part before storing

How big a difference does the ice chamber actually make?

It's a real, perceptible difference - particularly noticeable late in a session when coals are running hot. The smoke comes through cooler and feels smoother on the throat than an ambient 80 cm KM.

How often do I need to refill the ice?

Once or twice across a long session, depending on room temperature and how much ice you start with.
