Design and features

• Stainless steel mesh body contains coals if they roll or get knocked - a real safety upgrade for indoor and carpet set-ups.
• ~25 cm tall with an ~11 cm inner diameter - fits most standard charcoal trays and bowl set-ups.
• Works with Lotus-style HMDs - the Laminator sits over the HMD rather than fighting it.
• Open-top mesh design still lets you reach in to rotate coals with tongs during the session.

How to use it

• Set up your bowl and HMD (or foil) as normal.
• Place the AO Laminator over the bowl - it should sit flat on the tray.
• Transfer lit coals into the mesh cage with tongs.
• Rotate coals through the open top during the session with tongs.
• Let the mesh cool fully before handling after the session.

Care & maintenance

• Brush ash off the mesh after every session.
• Warm-water rinse clears any sticky residue - dry fully before storage.
• Stainless mesh doesn't corrode with repeated cleaning.

Is it only for indoor use?

It's designed with indoor set-ups in mind because that's where a falling coal causes the most damage - but it's useful outdoors in light wind too.

Does it work over a Kaloud-style HMD?

It's sized for Lotus-style HMDs and standard trays.

Does it affect heat management?

The mesh is open enough that it doesn't meaningfully trap heat - the HMD still runs the session, the guard just contains the coals.
