How to Use It

• Hold the poker by the textured octagonal grip section for the most control.
• Pierce the foil in an even, circular pattern — start at the outer edge and work inward.
• Space holes about 2–3 mm apart for consistent airflow across the bowl.
• For phunnels, leave the area directly above the spire clear.
• Wipe the tip clean after each session to prevent residue build-up.

Looking After It

• Wipe with a damp cloth after each use and dry immediately.
• Don't soak — brief water contact only to preserve the alloy coating.

Yes — the fine tip handles both phunnel and multi-hole foil prep. For phunnels, pierce around the outer ring and leave the spire clear.

Every Werkbund piece is individually hand-forged, so finish and texture vary subtly between units. That's the trade-off for buying a hand-made tool instead of a production one.
