Performance

Compared with a phunnel, the Killer’s multi-hole layout gives a freer draw and snappier heat response. Syrups breathe through the perforations without overwhelming the base, keeping flavour steady and clouds dense when coals are managed on the rim.

Setup & tips

• Use heavy-duty foil pulled tight; pierce evenly across the face (dense pattern). Start with 3 × 26 mm coconut cubes on the rim.
• Pack level and medium-fluff for blonde-leaf; slightly denser for dark-leaf. Leave 1–2 mm clearance from the foil.
• Rotate and ash coals every 10–12 minutes; drop to 2 cubes if heat creeps or flavour thins.
• HMDs: this bowl is foil-focused; only use an HMD if it sits fully flush and stable.
