Setting it up

• Fill the acrylic base so the diffuser tip is submerged by 10–15 mm
• Attach the stem and check the seal at the hub
• Pack the clay bowl loosely to 2–3 mm below the rim
• Foil cover, even hole pattern, 2–3 lit coconut coals on top
• Draw gently — the diffuser does the smoothing work for you

Care between sessions

• Rinse the acrylic base with warm water only — no harsh chemicals or alcohol
• Wash the silicone hose with warm water and let it dry fully
• Clear the diffuser holes on the downstem regularly with a soft brush
• Remove the LED puck before any cleaning

Is the included clay bowl any good?

It's a basic foil-only clay bowl — fine to start with. Most customers upgrade to a phunnel or HMD-compatible bowl after a few sessions for better heat control.

What batteries does the LED puck need?

The puck takes standard button cells which aren't included — pop into our Melbourne store and we'll point you to the right ones.

Is the acrylic base really shatter-proof?

It's shatter-resistant rather than indestructible — it'll survive bumps and tips that would crack glass, but it's not designed to be dropped from height.
