Fitting it
- Remove the purge valve cover on your KM stem
- Take out the old or rusty bearing
- Drop in the new 6 mm stainless bearing
- Replace the cover and check the purge by blowing gently into the hose

- Rinse the bearing and purge area with warm water periodically
- Check around the valve seat for buildup that could stop the ball sealing
- Replace if the bearing gets stuck or shows corrosion
