Worth knowing
The coal depot fits 2 large cubes maximum - this is the I+ (the original), not the larger I+3. If you want longer sessions with 3-4 coals, the Lotus I+3 is the upgrade. Our team at Melbourne's Shisha Store can walk you through both side by side.
How to use it
- Pack your phunnel bowl with shisha to just below the spire.
- Place the Lotus I+ directly on the bowl - no foil required.
- Load 2 fully lit natural coconut coals inside.
- Close the lid for maximum heat, open the vents for cooler, lighter sessions.
- Adjust vent position through the session to manage flavour and cloud output.
Care
- Let the Lotus cool fully after each session before handling.
- Soak in warm water with mild dish soap to loosen residue.
- Soft brush or cloth for carbon buildup on the base.
- No abrasive scrubbers - they'll mark the finish.
- Dry thoroughly before storing.

Most flat-lipped phunnel bowls including the Kaloud Samsaris. At Melbourne's Shisha Store we can test-fit the Lotus on your bowl before you buy if you bring it in.
Lotus I+ or I+3 - which should I get?
I+ is the original, ~120 g, 2-coal capacity, ~60-minute sessions. I+3 has a stainless steel base, ~190 g, 4-coal capacity, ~90-minute sessions. I+ is the lighter, more economical option; I+3 is for longer sessions. Come in and our team will explain the difference in person.
Is this genuine Kaloud?
Yes. Every Lotus we stock is sourced through authorised Kaloud channels. We don't carry replicas.
