The Ayara is Kaloud's universal carbon filter adapter. It slides onto any hookah downstem, not just Kaloud pipes, and filters the smoke through a replaceable carbon filter system. This is the Auris Gold anodised finish.

What the Ayara actually does

• Remove your existing diffuser, slide the Ayara onto the immersion tube, and you are filtered.
• Activated coconut-shell carbon filtration for a cleaner-tasting draw.
• Ceramic diffuser base breaks up large bubbles into smaller ones for a quieter, smoother, more even draw.
• Silicone seal grips your downstem securely: no extra grommets, no modifications, no tools.
• Three Ayara Large filters are included in the box.
• Snap-fit filter system.

Fit check before you buy

The Ayara works with any hookah where the existing diffuser can be removed, so check what your pipe currently has. It accepts downstems 8-16 mm in diameter and needs a base neck opening of at least 36 mm.

How to fit it

• Remove the existing diffuser from your hookah's downstem.
• Wet the silicone portion of the Ayara adapter for easier installation.
• Slide the adapter onto the immersion tube; push firmly but slowly through the silicone seal.
• Click a fresh Ayara Large filter into the adapter housing.
• Set the water level so the ceramic diffuser base sits around 10-12 mm below the waterline.
• Smoke as normal; the carbon filter works automatically as you draw.
• Swap filters when flavour dulls, a woody note appears, or the draw tightens (typically every 30-60 sessions).

Care

• Rinse the adapter with hot water after each session.
• Deep clean periodically with mild dish soap and a soft brush; avoid harsh chemicals on the anodised aluminium.
• Dry thoroughly before storing to protect the ceramic diffuser.
• Do not rinse or try to regenerate spent filters; just swap them out.

Does this fit any hookah?

Universally, yes, as long as the existing diffuser can be removed and your downstem sits in the 8-16 mm range. If you are running a fixed diffuser that cannot be removed, the Ayara will not fit.

How long does a filter actually last?

Between 30 and 60 sessions depending on session length, how wet your shisha is, and how heavily you smoke. You will know it is time to swap when flavour starts dulling or the draw tightens.
