What It Actually Does

• Steel check ball that drops straight into the purge valve housing on your hookah stem, restoring the one-way seal so you can blow stale smoke out of the base without losing draw pressure.
• Universal diameter fits the purge valve on most single-hose and multi-hose hookah pipes.
• Steel construction seats reliably against the valve seat and resists corrosion from regular rinsing.
• Restores purge function: a single gentle breath through the hose clears stale smoke through the valve.

Replacing It

• Unscrew the purge valve cap or cover from your hookah stem.
• Drop the steel ball into the valve housing; it should sit freely at the base.
• Replace the cover. At rest, the ball seals the port shut.
• When you blow through the hose, the ball lifts and releases stale smoke through the purge.

Care

• Remove and rinse the ball whenever you clean the stem. Residue build-up stops the ball seating against the valve seat.
• Dry fully before replacing.
• Replace if the ball shows pitting or corrosion that prevents a seal.

Common Questions

Will it fit my pipe?

It fits the vast majority of standard hookah purge valves.

My purge doesn't work and I still have the ball. What else could it be?

Usually residue under the seat or a corroded ball. Pull the assembly apart, clean both the ball and the seat, dry thoroughly, reassemble. If it still fails, replace the ball.

Can I just leave the purge out?

You can, but you lose the ability to clear stale smoke cleanly: every purge becomes a draw-back instead. Worth replacing.
