How to dial it in

• Water line: 15–20 mm above the down-stem bell for open, quiet pulls.
• Foil packs: even pack to the rim, tight foil, two 26 mm coals; add a third after 5–7 min if needed.
• Purge: a slow, steady breath fully refreshes the chamber.

Craft & performance

Hand-built in Cairo on a stainless-steel core with a polished silver-tone exterior. Turned forms and engraving add tactile control; the heavy bell base adds thermal mass so flavour stays consistent deep into the round.

Care & upkeep

• Rinse stem and base warm with mild detergent; soft nylon brush for the down-stem.
• Avoid harsh abrasives on the exterior; dry thoroughly to preserve the finish.

Quick fixes

• Harsh start: lift HMD lid 10–15 s or edge a coal; for foil, ease the pack.
• Thin clouds: ensure coals are fully lit; add a third; check seals and water level.
• Air leak: refresh bowl/base grommets and re-seat the stem.
