Fox's Turkish Short is compact and quick to heat - the short profile comes up to session temperature faster than a tall bowl and runs a clean solo session on ~12-15 g.
Compact Short Profile · Five-Hole Floor · Glazed White Clay
Fox Turkish Short - glazed five-hole clay bowl for quick solo sessions
Why the short profile works
- Compact height means faster heat-up - you're in session quicker than with a tall bowl.
- Glazed white clay wipes clean and gives a bright visual contrast on darker stems.
- ~12-15 g capacity is sized right for a single-person session without over-packing.
- Five-hole Turkish floor keeps airflow smooth and even from the first draw.
- Works with foil packing or a Provost-style heat screen.
Packing it
- Rinse with warm water before first use.
- Pack 12-15 g of shisha to just below the rim - don't overfill.
- Heavy-duty foil with evenly spaced holes, or drop on a Provost screen.
- Two or three coals, draw gently, adjust as the session runs.
Care
- Rinse after each session.
- Gentle soft brush through the holes to clear residue.
- Air dry before storing.
- Heavy, regular use can stain the white glaze slightly over time - that's cosmetic, not functional.
