Why we keep one on every prep station
- Safe for hot HMDs and bowls - heat-resistant silicone takes the heat with no marking or melting.
- Magnetic tool groove - the included fork-poker snaps into the board so it's always within reach mid-session.
- Two functional sides - pack on one side, stage your HMD or coals on the other, doubling your usable space.
- 5 mm of cushion - protects glass bases, bowls and benchtops from impact damage.
- Roll, don't fold - flexible silicone stores neatly without taking up drawer space.
How to use it
- Lay the board flat on any clean, level surface.
- Use one side for fluffing and packing the bowl, the other for resting hot HMDs or coals between rotations.
- Slot the magnetic 2-in-1 fork/poker into the groove when you're not using it.
- Pack directly on the board - the silicone surface catches loose tobacco for easy clean-up.
Care & cleaning
- Rinse with warm water and a little dish soap after each session.
- Wipe dry or air dry fully before putting it away.
- Roll for storage - avoid creasing it by folding sharply.
- Keep away from open flame; it's heat-resistant for HMDs and coals, not direct fire.

Can I rest a fully lit HMD on it?
Yes - that's exactly what it's built for. We do this dozens of times a day at the Melbourne store with no marking on the board.
Is it dishwasher safe?
We recommend hand washing with warm soapy water to keep the silicone surface in best condition long term.
