Key features

How to use it

• Pack your phunnel bowl just below the spire - a touch lower than you would for foil.
• Place the D-Heater directly onto the bowl rim. No foil needed.
• Drop 2 or 3 fully-lit 26 mm coconut coals into the open top.
• Rotate coals every 7-10 minutes for even heat. Move coals to the centre to bring more heat, or to the edge to back off.

Care & cleaning

• Let the D-Heater cool fully before handling - open-top HMDs hold heat in the body for a while after the session ends.
• Soak in warm water with a little dish soap to lift carbon from the inside.
• Clean with a soft brush or cloth only - abrasives will dull the anodised silver finish.
• Dry completely and store away from moisture.
