Browse alternativesThe Chubby is a limited collaboration between BSTD's Terry Antoniades and The Premium Way — a phunnel bowl thrown from a white and stoneware clay blend, hand-glazed individually so every piece is a one-of-one. We've kept stock of this collab at our Melbourne store from day one and it remains one of the most asked-for handcrafted bowls on the shelf.
Hand-Glazed Stoneware · One-of-One Finish · Limited Collaboration
BSTD Chubby × TPW — Hand-Glazed Stoneware Phunnel Bowl
Why the Chubby Stands Out
- White and stoneware clay blend distributes heat evenly across the bowl bed — no microfractures or bleeding even on extended sessions.
- Phunnel spire keeps shisha juices in the bowl bed where they belong, extending flavour and protecting your stem from drip-through.
- ~15–20 g capacity is the sweet spot for solo or paired sessions — enough for length without overloading.
- Each piece is hand-glazed individually by Terry Antoniades — colour and pattern variation is intentional, no two bowls are the same.
- Sits cleanly under foil, Kaloud Lotus I+, AOT Provost, and other major HMDs without an adapter.
Fit & Compatibility
Standard bowl grommet fitting — seats on Egyptian (including Khalil Mamoon), Turkish, and modern stems. Works with foil setups and every major HMD class. No adapter needed.
Care & Maintenance
- Let the bowl cool completely before cleaning — thermal shock from cold water on hot stoneware causes cracks.
- Rinse with warm water and use a soft brush to lift residue.
- Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive pads — they damage the hand-glazed finish.
- Dry fully before storing in a cool, dry spot.

Why does the colour look different from the listing photos?
Every Chubby is individually hand-glazed — the colour and pattern variation is the whole point. Each bowl is a one-of-one piece. If you want to hand-pick your colour, drop into our Melbourne store and we'll show you what's currently in stock.
Will it fit my Khalil Mamoon stem?
Yes — standard bowl grommet fitting works with Khalil Mamoon, modern Egyptian, and Turkish stems alike.
